With rain and storms approaching, always be safe and take care – especially in thunder storms and with strong winds and falling trees. But if you do get a chance to be outside, don’t let the rain stop you getting a daily dose of walking or exploring somewhere new.

My advice when you are thinking about layers of clothing is to look out the window and think about how you’ll feel 20 minutes into your activity and dress for that rather than how you feel jumping off the sofa and looking out at grey skies
