What does Second Hand mean?
Second hand, used, pre-owned, vintage or refurbished? Second hand simply means a product was previously used and loved by someone else, and is now looking for a new home.
Our second hand clothing or equipment are a sustainable option for those who care for the environment, but at the same time want to make a good deal for the wallet.
As the products are used, we recommend that you read the product information carefully, so that you are aware of any “wear and tear”.

NORDISK PREPPER sells new and second hand equipment and clothing. Our focus is to create a circular economy, to become a destination for those looking for quality and value, with well known brand names for all-things sports and outdoors living.
We sell gear for hiking, camping, skiing, running, cycling, climbing, hunting and trekking. Our most popular items in the collection come from, among others, Lundhags, Seger, Haglöfs, Fjällräven, The North Face and Peak Performance.
As a customer you save money, and by buying second hand we together can reduce the environmental impact of items sent to landfill.
Grading our gear
To clarify how we classify the different grading classifications, we have created three levels – see below. All items have been individually inspected to ensure they are in mint condition, with no visible defects or signs of frequent use – but if we spot something we think you should know, we will add it into the product description. We assure you that we make as fair an assessment as possible of each item and piece of equipment.
New
A new and unused item.
- The clothing or equipment is new.
- Has the original price tag or is in the original packaging.
- Premium brand names.
- Typically bought from a retail outlet as surplus stock.
Second Hand “A”
Could be as good as new.
- The clothing or equipment has been hardly used or is like new condition, well looked after.
- Premium brand names.
- Has been inspected and washed.
Second Hand “B”
Used but still looks good.
- The clothing or equipment has been used and may show some signs of use.
- Premium brand names.
- Has been inspected and washed.
