Dafo fire blanket – 1.8 m x 1.2 m.

Description

This Dafo fire blanket is made of fire-resistant fiberglass fabric. The most common and most suitable material in fire blankets are fiberglass. It resists very high temperatures, which means that it can used in kitchens to, for example, smother a fire in oil. The fire blanket is packed with the bands hanging down ready to pull for usage. In use you pull the black straps to get the canvas out. The canvas is very flexible and easy to work with. The fire is suffocated by placing the fire blanket over the fire and packing it all around. After use is the recommendation that the fire blanket be discarded. Fire blankets are suitable for extinguishing smaller fires in e.g. clothes and furniture as well as to smother fires in pans, beds or on other horizontal surfaces. Standards designation EN1869:2019.
