Your personal data and how we handle it:

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”.

Cookies

We use cookies. A cookie is a text file that is sent from a web page to your computer where it is stored either in memory (session cookies) or as a small text file (text-based cookies). We use the latter variant of cookies. In connection with placing your order or creating a “My Account”, you agree that we save and use your data to complete and provide the service you can expect from us.
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

– “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps. 
– “Web beacons”, “tags”, and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you securely, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information”.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

How do we use your personal information?
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfil any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:
– Communicate with you;
– Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
– When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimise our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

Sharing you personal Information
We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. For example, we use wordpress to power our online store. Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights. 

Email Marketing
“E-mail advertising if you subscribe to the newsletter, we will regularly send you our email newsletter based on your consent according to Art. 6 (1) 1 lit. a) GDPR, using the data required or disclosed by you separately for this purpose. You may unsubscribe from the newsletter service at any time. For this purpose you can either send a message to the contact option specified below or use the opt-out link in the newsletter. Upon unsubscription, we will delete your email address unless you have expressly consented to the further use of your data or we reserve the right to further use your personal data in the scope and manner permitted by the law, of which we inform you in this notice.”


Your rights
If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above.

Data retention
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.

Minors
The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18 . 

All personal data processing takes place in accordance with the data protection regulation. 

Personal data

When you complete a purchase, you agree that we store your personal data. We store the personal data needed to fulfil the agreement with you as a customer as well as the personal data for which you have given consent. 

What personal data do we collect and why?

When you become a customer of NORDISK PREPPER, we collect your contact details: name, address, e-mail address, and telephone number. We also collect information about delivery method, possible delivery location and IP address. The purchase agreement that we have entered into with you constitutes the legal basis for the processing of your personal data and is necessary for us to be able to fulfil our legal obligations and fulfil this agreement towards you regarding, for example, delivery and payment.

Data collected during personal contact

When you contact customer service via, for example, e-mail or chat, we collect the personal data that you provide to us. We do this to be able to answer the questions you have and to handle your case. It can e.g. be information about name, e-mail address and order number. If your question concerns a complaint, we will process your data in order to fulfil our obligations under current consumer legislation. We do this against the background of the legal basis based on our purchase agreement with you.

How do we use your personal data?

We process your data to identify you as a customer, manage and deliver your order and to handle invoicing and payment. We also process your personal data to be able to help you if you contact us with questions, comments or, for example, a complaint.

With whom do we share the personal data?

Payment solutions – In order to be able to take payment, handle invoices and payments, we share data in connection with your payment.

Transport company/Freight company – Our shipping companies take part in the personal data required to be able to complete and deliver your order.

Cookies/Google/ – We share analytics data via third-party cookies for marketing and web analytics to improve our services. We do not register any information about the visitor’s IP address, therefore the information about you can never be connected with your identity.

To avoid having your information saved, you can choose not to accept cookies in your browser.

Agencies

Upon request, according to law and authority decisions, we may be obliged to disclose certain personal data, for example to the Police in connection with a criminal investigation.

We save personal data as long as there is a legal basis, a documented purpose for the processing or an ongoing user relationship. We have ongoing procedures that ensure that we do not store unnecessary personal data and we minimise the storage time as much as possible. We normally save your customer data for a maximum of three years from your last customer contact. However, we save information that is required according to the Accounting Act, for up to eight years.

We have taken appropriate security measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. The number of people who have access to your personal data is limited. Only people with us who need to process your personal data have access to it. The suppliers with whom we share personal data will only process it on our behalf and do so in accordance with our instructions.

You have the right to find out which of your personal data is with NORDISK PREPPER and request to have this deleted. To gain access to that information or delete your data, your application must be in writing, contain your social security number and be signed by you. Send your application to info@nordiskprepper.com. The data or confirmation of deletion will be sent without undue delay to your address.

You also have the option of submitting a complaint to the Swedish Privacy Protection Authority, which is the authority that supervises the processing of personal data.
