Base Layer

Layering is one of the key Scandinavian principles for dressing for the outdoors – remember there’s no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothing! Designed to keep you warm and comfortable, a base layer is the layer of clothing that you wear next to your skin, over which you layer warmer clothing. A base layer can come in a variety of different fabrics and styles.
